rajeshontheweb
hi, i am gonna dig deep into google spreadsheet api . http://code.google.com/apis/spreadsheets/gadgets/ i tried to search through forums but it doesnt seem there;s been much in this direction. has anyone tried it yet? on the outlook i was thinking of retrieving the files using inetget or similar methods they have the snippets available for java / .net / python etc. java code example available here: http://code.google.com/apis/spreadsheets/data/3.0/developers_guide_java.html rather than me diving into it step by step and realising later that it cant be done so easily, i would request experienced hands here to take a look at it and confirm if this is gonna be possible (i know even if it is not possible we can come up with a workaround, but i wanted to check if i would get stuck at some technical limitaion..) Started late is much better than having never started it!!!!Failure is another step towards success. kjcdude
I'm also wondering the same. I'd like to be able to add data to a spreadsheet that outputs to a graph for internal use.
ptrex
@rajeshontheweb It is possible to do this. ptrex
@PsaltyDS I can't predict. I am overloaded with many other projects (not au3 related). The version I created is a pre beta version which seem to work. But code has to be cleaned up, and I need to do further testing as well. Secondly Gdocs is based on XML mostly which is not my strenght. So I need to educate myself further, to manage the Atom Publishing Protocol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atom_(standard). tobject
Can you post source, maybe someone else could finish it? I semi-automated Google Squared last night and almost got banned by Google - they thought it's a DoS attack ) lol
EGM
I've been poking around in this subject as well and have discovered 3 things...1. xml is kinda finicky.2. I need more practice with AutoIt 3. There is now a JSON mechanism in place if anybody is handy with both AutoIt and JSON( append ?alt=json to the feed url ) Edited October 19, 2010 by EGM
