get CPU usage of a given process [solved]

Recommended Posts

hi,

I'm still working on the same project.

my autoit tool sends hotkeys to a program (let's call it "P"). I send a filter command to "P" (it's a graphical program), then "P" is processing the loading picture : little picture => short time, big picture => long time.

after this filter command, I need to send another hotkey. But before, I need to wait the filter's process finished. So I need to know if the filter's process is still running or not.

I think the way is to check the CPU's usage of the "P" process, but I didn't find the way to do it.

searching here, I found a "CPU usage" function, but it's a global usage, not process by process. An idea, anyone ?
