I have added my own abbreviations to SciTe (Options | Open Abbreviations File). To invoke them, I must type the abbreviation and then press Ctrl+B. The abbreviations that were already there invoke when I press the spacebar (they also show up in red after I type them - before I press the spacebar). How do I get the ones I have added to invoke with the spacebar as well? Is this possible or am I stuck having to press Ctrl+B for my own custom abbreviations.

All assistance is greatly appreciated.

The definitions for the Lexer are done in: Option/Open au3.keywords.properties.

All the way at the bottom the abbreviations are defined:

au3.keywords.abbrev=au3check autoit3 aut2exe datbeta datfinal icon scite autoit3dir aut2exedir icondir includedir \

scitedir chk edt inp lbl but rad tab error result gchecked gunchecked genable gdisable \

-snip-

tsis tspi tss tt ub wat wa wc we wgcp wgcl wgcs wgh wgpo wgpr wgs wgte wgti wk wl wmsi \

wma wmau wm wsot wss wst wstr ww wwa wwc wwna

Just add your own in lowercase and it should work.

Remember that this file is overwritten everytime you do an install were the Abbrev.properties is only updated between the Dashed lines as indicated in the file.

Many thanks for such a quick response!

I also appreciate the heads up on it getting overwritten on install, so I'll have to make sure I backup my entries.
