Moderators Melba23 Posted December 30, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 30, 2009 Rex,You need to enter the murky world of Regular Expressions! This one removes all banned characters from a string which is to be used as a file name:$sText = "Wonder* Corporation /inc\" $sNewText = StringRegExpReplace($sText, '\\|/|:|\*|\?|\"|\<|\>|\|', "") MsgBox(0, "New Text", $sNewText)I you have questions, I will try and answer them, but I am not an expert in SRE by any means.
