how to click a link that opens in a new window control that window?

the link i click opens in a new window and i want to control that window of what i am clicking. what am i doing wrong IEAttach should work rigth? is it else posible to not open that link in a new window

You are probably trying to connect to it too quickly. Put in a reasonable sleep, or run _IEAttach() in a loop until it connects.

With that other IE instance open already, also verify that your _IEAttach() works with that document title. You might want "WindowTitle" vice the default (document) "title". See the help file under _IEAttach().
