jterwelp
When using WinSetState("Title", "", @SW_MINIMIZE) to minimize an external program window, is it possible to override the "Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing" visual effect in Windows XP? I want to minimize a program window as soon as it appears without the minimize animation.I also tried first setting the window state to @SW_HIDE before @SW_MINIMIZE and that hid the animation but the resulting taskbar shuffle was more distracting than the window animation I'm trying to hide. Any ideas?Jeff
MHz
You could move it off screen. Below will move it off to the left by the width of the desktop. WinMove('Title', 'Text', - @DesktopWidth, 0)
jterwelp
Thanks for the idea but it did not work. Even with the window moved off the screen by the width of the desktop, the window animation is still visible when the window is programmatically minimized. Any other ideas? jterwelp
Wow, thanks Larry! The code example that you provided does just what I was looking for. Because I'll be running the script in a corporate environment, beta software is frowned upon. Do you have an estimated date for struct support being added to an official AutoIt release?
