Hi,

I have an application that changes the ID of the controls, every time I start it up.

Hence, Controlclick cannot be used. Movemouse and sendkeys is in this particular case not reliable enough.

In IE.au3 there is an excellent function _IELinkClickByText.

Does anyone know whether a similar function would exist for non IE applications?

Thanks in advance for the help and effort.

Cheers

The helpfile explains all options you have to address windows and controls, which is a good place to start.

What is the exact info shown by Au3info.exe for this control?

The Window Info is always exactly the same, but with a different ID.

Have you tried using the [class:...; Instance:nn] method or the [CLASSNN:...] method?

See Using AutoIt >> Controls in the help file for details.

Not yet, I will try that.

Thank you for the suggestion.
