Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.
ngskicker Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 nothing... I'm just trying to understand the C code and the Huffman tree and then tried to use it in AutoIt
jchd Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I wouldn't recommend native AutoIt for such task. Good luck! This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.Another excellent RegExp tutorial. Don't forget downloading your copy of up-to-date pcretest.exe and pcregrep.exe hereRegExp tutorial: enough to get startedPCRE v8.33 regexp documentation latest available release and currently implemented in AutoIt beta. SQLitespeed is another feature-rich premier SQLite manager (includes import/export). Well worth a try.SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager. An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.SQL tutorial (covers "generic" SQL, but most of it applies to SQLite as well)A work-in-progress SQLite3 tutorial. Don't miss other LxyzTHW pages!SQLite official website with full documentation (may be newer than the SQLite library that comes standard with AutoIt)
ngskicker Posted February 20, 2010 Author Posted February 20, 2010 so do you think this is almost impossible doing in AutoIt
jchd Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Impossible and recommendable are different notions. Obviously a practical (understand decently close to state of the art) implementation in native AutoIt is out of reach since first AutoIt is essentially a slow language (being interpreted) and second, that bit and pointers manipulations in AutoIt are certainly not its strength. Now you still can do it for fun, glory or simply to learn things. This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available).
