stev379 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I searched and found some tools on the Internet, but would prefer to know what's happening. I'm sure I can put this together later today, but in the interest of saving time, I'm checking if anyone has something already created. I need to find and replace the data in multiple value strings. Does anyone have anything already created to run a find and replace on a value string, or anything in the registry? I can edit to change the string instead of course. I know I can run "RegRead", but I'm not clear on what to put in the valuename parameter as a wildcard. Nor am I clear on how to search the entire registry from top to bottom. Thanks for any help or suggestions!
PsaltyDS Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 There was _RegSearch(), posted a while back by a certain rakishly good-looking bird. Doesn't do the replace part, but would be easy to modify for that or use in your own UDF. Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
