chipDE
Hi, I want to encrypt a folder. I try to encrypt the folder so _Crypt_EncryptFile(@ScriptDir & "\system", @ScriptDir & "\system.save", "123qwe", $CALG_AES_256) If I decrypt it so I can not get a folder but a file without a type _Crypt_DecryptFile(@ScriptDir & "\system.save", @ScriptDir & "\system", "123qwe", $CALG_AES_256)
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 28, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2010 chipDE,As far as I know, the En/DeCryptFile functions only work on files, not entire folders. So I can suggest 2 avenues for investigation:1. Either making a shadow folder with all the individual files encrypted within it.2. Getting the contents of the folder into a single file and then encrypting that file.Either way, FileFindFirst/NextFile would be a good place to start your research! Fulano
Ok, than i make a .zip an encrypt this.Standard zip format doesn't support nestled folders, WinZip et al use a hack that is outside of the standard.Try looking into Tar or Rar, as they support folder structure as part of their design standard Edited March 1, 2010 by Fulano #fgpkerw4kcmnq2mns1ax7ilndopen (Q, $0); while ($l = <Q>){if ($l =~ m/^#.*/){$l =~ tr/a-z1-9#/Huh, Junketeer's Alternate Pro Ace /; print $l;}}close (Q);[code] tag ninja!
