How to assign file name with not allowed symbols using C#?

Do you mean "symbols not allowed in a file name" or "symbols not allowed in C#"?

Considering any file name symbols would be in a string, I don't know how it could run into issues with C# as a language.

I suppose - the only symbols that you'd have a problem with in C# would be \ and " which are not allowed in files either.

Not true, I was merely asking if the OP was having trouble with C#.
