eddie114
I'm pretty new to Autoit and I'm having trouble getting my mouse to go to a specific location and click so I can enter text. I'm not sure how I'd use the AutoIt Window Info and integrate it into the code.
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 5, 2010 Moderators Share Posted April 5, 2010 eddie114,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. MouseClick will let you go to any position and click. But you have to be careful which set of coordinates you use - there are 3 possibilites:0 = relative coords to the active window1 = absolute screen coordinates (default)2 = relative coords to the client area of the active windowWhen you use the Au3 Window Info tool, the "Mouse" tab gives you the absolute screen coords (option 0) so that is probably the one to go for. If you have to convert between coordinate grids, there are a number of ways you can do so, but we will try to avoid that if we can.Does that help? If not, please ask again.
