Hello,

With Run() u can run .bat, .exe files and so on. But not .au3 ones, i think. Only if you compile them, but in that case i dont like to do so.

And i also dont want to #include them, i just want to run them.

I think i seen once that someone ran it by calling autoit.exe or something, with the file as parameter.

Is that the best way to do it? Or is there a better way? Coz i need to get the return value of that script somehow...

thx in advance,

ND

you can Run() any file, as long as you include the program the file runs with.

Run("Notepad.exe C:\AutoIt\AutoItlog.txt")

that will open the AutoItlog.txt file in notepad.

The same can be done with Au3 scripts.

Run("C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt3.exe D:\path to script\script.au3")
