NSearch
When I use this code, I get an error saying something like, the external file can not be opened. $PID1 = Run("C:\test.pl") Do I need to open Perl first? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
CyberSlug
See FAQ #6: http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/faq.htm#6So you need to pass the file as a paramter to the perl interpreter (I think). NSearch
When I go to start, run, and type in C:\test.pl the file will open and run properly, but when I use this code: $PID1 = Run(@ComSpec & " /c start " & "C:\test.pl") I get the following error: Use of uninitialized value in numeric lt (<) at C:\test.pl line
MSLx Fanboy
sounds like a variable issue within the perl script. Can you post the perl script up here? NSearch
The perl script runs when I double click it or if I run it from start->run, so I do not believe that it is the perl code. The problem only happens when I try to run the script through autoit. Any solutions?

NSearch
I figured it out. The script has to be located in the same folder as the perl script. Thanks for the help everyone!
