how do I convert Input box text into *'s for passwords?

Topic title pretty much says it all!

I have a gui where I will enter my user name and password but I don't want it so if someone walked passed my computer they could see my password. I don't want to hard code my password so is there a way to make anything typed in a input box become a symbol?
