HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\nmwcdcx64\Enum\(HardwareID)

would be the reg key that shows if my communicator is connected or not.

func check_dev()

RegRead('your devices regkey','Value if connected')

if @error then return false

else return true

endfunc

get the regkey by searching for the hardwareID of your device in the registry.

Get hardwareid by clicking properties and select HardwareId from Details.
