Script not working with EQ2

I just recently started using this program with Everquest 2, so dont be alarmed with any noob questions

My problem is when I run the script it will run in everything else on my pc besides everquest 2

WinActivate("EverQuest II")

send("1")

send("2")

send("3")

send("4")

send("5")

send("6")

send("7")

send("8")

send("9")

send("-")

send("=")

send("0")

the script is very simple, so Im not sure if its related to something else to why it is not working. Any responses will be appreciated. Thanks
