Phenom
I want to add two types of files to a file list array, *s.bmp and *h.bmp. I tried the following, but it doesn't work. $aFiles = _FileListToArray(".", "*s.bmp *h.bmp") How can it be done?
Moderators Melba23 Posted June 9, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 9, 2010 Phenom,As you have discovered, FileListToArray will only take one filter. Two solutions:- Use a more advanced UDF version of the function; there are lots on the forum.- Run FileListToArray twice and then use ArrayConcatenate to join the arrays. But do not forget to remove the counter element from the beginning of the second array. norax
Dim $bfiles = 200 $bfiles[0] = 0 $aFiles = _FileListToArray(".", "*") $0 = 1 for $0 = 1 to $aFiles[0] if stringinstr("*s.bmp " & "*h.bmp",$aFiles[$0]) then $bfiles[0] = $bfiles[0] + 1 $bfiles[$bfiles[0]] = $aFiles[$0] EndIf Next somethin like that maybe. then u can use a little loop like this to return the files. $x = 1 while $x <= $bfiles[0] msgbox(0,"",$bfiles[$x]) $x = $x + 1 wend Edited June 9, 2010 by norax
