Icons

I have created an exe and assigned an icon do it, this work perfectly. However if I create a shortcut to the exe some other icon are available if I click change icon (specifically a red cross and black square with a cross inside). How can I get rid of these additional icons?

The icons are part of the file set in the file you are pulling your icon from. You would need to create an ico file with just the one icon in it.

Thanks for your reply. The ico file I'm using only has the one image in it, I have tried numerous ico file and always end up getting these extra images added.

AutoIt adds them in. You can take them out using reshacker, but it's not advised as they are there for a reason.
