I have a large AutoIt project that is written so that each function is in its own file. There is a 'main' file that includes all of the other function files (~50 include files). I'm getting an error when I run my executable; the error is at line xxxx. I use sciTe to edit my AutoIt files. Is there any way to have SciTe load and save the integrated files source code so that I can find the line the error is happening at? I have been through the editor menus looking for something like this but haven't found anything yet.

Thanks

MikeRerick,

If you have the full SciTE4AutoIt3 version, add these lines to the top of your script and then compile:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Run_Obfuscator=y
#Obfuscator_Parameters=/so

You will find a new file created - Your_file_Obfuscated.au3 - which is the full script with expanded includes, but no blank lines. The line number that appears when you get an error in the compiled exe can be related directly to this file. Try not to have any continuation lines if possible because that screws up the count. ;)

If you do not have the full SciTE version, you should download it from here - it has lots of goodies to make coding in AutoIt much more productive. I have yet to meet anyone who has regretted it.
