autoit , How to kill Thread in process ?

Recommended Posts

TaskKill and ProcessClose() will kill a process. A TID is different from a PID.

Threads are managed internally within a process. There is no normal WinAPI function to kill threads as Windows does not see them (while they have their own stack they are still managed within the process).

You can (and this is not done in AutoIt) programmaticly get a handle to a thread with a TID then kill it however this is not recommend. Google for more info.

Why do you need this?

Post your code because code says more then your words can. SciTe Debug mode - it's magic: #AutoIt3Wrapper_run_debug_mode=Y.
