To change a printer name in Windows you'll have to copy ALL associated registry keys under a new name.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printers\HP Monier

will become

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printers\New HP Printer

Use RegEunmKey and RegEnumVal to get all the RegKeys and use RegRead/RegWrite

to copy them under a new name. Use RegDelete to delete the old keys.

Otherwise use prncnfg, a VBS script which is installed with WinXP to rename a printer.

Cheers

Kurt

but driver not digitally signed plz tell me where to edit digital signature

you can't edit or change the signature. Either let M$ sign your driver or disabled signature checks in WinXP (search google for that).
