Borje Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 What is the best exe packer to use with autoit exe files? I use UPX but I think that must be another to use and better ? Please anybody give me some tips any packer that works with Autoit..
Somerset Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executable_compression#List_of_packers There is a list of them, Autoit uses UPX..
nasty Posted July 28, 2010 Posted July 28, 2010 Virtually you can use any exe compressor .. .. depends by level of compression and the level of protection that you wanna apply to your file. I use word "Virtually" why for example if you apply to your .exe many many protection (setting these parameters in compressor's control panel), your file can be instable or crash on some computer (cpu type or particular hardware) . Default packer used by AutoIt is the free UPX, but if you wanna more protection you need to use some commercial products like, i can suggest you, TheMida, Execryptor or ZProtect. Remember, if you not use UPX, to disable UPX compression and after apply the chosen packer compression. Bye ..
