Read ip port

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I need a communication link between a cell phone and computer to send a datastream from cell phone to computer. Is there an easy way to bind the cell phone to a certain ip adres / port and read this with AutoIt? (Instead of using WiFi maybe Bluetooth is a better way, but I've tried to set up a connection and this keeps failing. Unable to connect, my wifi dropping down, etc.)

Is it possible to use a webserver and then listen to the port where the cell phone is entering? I'm not sure how to solve this problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give her/his idea about the problem?

Best regards,

-JJ

Yes I did look at TCPListen. You specify an IP and a port you listen to. Should I then use TCPRecv to be able to receive messages on this port? But when you want to send messages from mobile to laptop, should I connect with adhoc? I don't know how adhoc really works. I've tried this adhoc thing between my laptop and mobile, but it automatically opens a browser on my cell phone.
