smashly
Hi, I feel ashamed that I didn't pay attention in maths school. I see cos, sin and my head starts to spin. I have Start X,Y and End X,Y for a line I'm drawing with GDI+. How do I calculate the middle X,Y of the line between Start and End? TYIA

smashly
Thank You M23 It's that simple, sheez I've been looking at it all wrong I'm making a polygon editor for a simple 2D top scrolling flying shooter I have in the making. Polygon editor makes it a bit easier for me to create the aircraft. The editor just outputs the polygon points for me to use in my game. Where the middle of the line part was needed was when adding points to the polygon. All good now Cheers

smashly
OMG, that's really smashly... use sin and cos to calculate the middle of the line??? Nope not yet , I think the last time I used cos and sin was drawing the hands on a clock or maybe when i was playing with a matrix and calculating the center to keep my spinning object centered .Yep I'm pretty clueless when it comes to maths and it always make my head hurt
UEZ
x1, y1 = start coordinate x2, y2= end coordinate Xm = (x2 - x1) / 2 Ym = (y2 - y1) / 2 should work. Br, UEZ Please don't send me any personal message and ask for support! I will not reply!
