Trying to develop application similiar to Deck Designer

Recommended Posts

I would like to create an appplication that is similiar to the following:

Deck Designer

Basically Deck Designer is a tool designed to help develop custom decks for the Epic Duels board game.

Is creating an application like this a possibility with AutoIT?

Any help, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

***You can check out the link provided above to check out the original application that I am trying to develop mine after ***

Thanks.

Again. Any help would be great.

Well, ask yourself some questions first. Do you know how to create your own custom deck by hand? If so then divide those steps up and conquer them one by one. Take the very first step and see if it can be performed by a computer. I'm sure that if you're working with a finite amount of cards and a human can create a custom deck then autoit shouldn't have a problem doing it too, but that's purely theoretical speculation at this point.

Well, now that I've downloaded the program, I'll say that it could be done most likely but if you have no programming experience then it might take a while. And I bid you peace.

Hey Jaberwocky,

Thanks for the input. Well I primarily a Networking Specialist but I do have some scripting and programming experience. I have dabbled with some VB, ASP, VB SCRIPT, Javascript, and VBA.

So you definitely think after taking a look at the program that it would be possible with AutoIT?

I am having a problem arriving at a way to display the cards on the GUI in a set of 9. 3 x 3 x 3. You know what I mean?
