Calling autoit function from javascript

I am trying to connect autoit to IE with javascript. While I am able to call a javascript function from autoit, I was not able to do javascript to call back to an autoit function.

I was searching the forum and I found an example where it is used in the thread: In the second page, that does not require a specific document namespace, and could be hooked up to any web page is presented, but the code appears with weird characters. This is the code I was looking for but I cannot read it.

Does any one knows how to call back to an autoit function from javascript or how to read the previous mentioned post?
