I'd like to run a script on a remote computer, so I'm trying to get psexec to work. Here's the setup:

COMPUTER1, running Win 7 64 bit, username = Myname, no password

COMPUTER2, running Win XP pro, username = Myname, no password

Both computers are members of the workgroup named WORKGROUP. I can read and write files on both computer without a problem.

From the command line on COMPUTER1, if I type:

psexec \\COMPUTER2 cmd

I get, "Couldn't access COMPUTER2: Access is denied." Same error if I specify COMPUTER2 by its IP address.

Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps start with some diagnotsitcs using NET USE?
