mistykz
Hi there, I created a list with a list of different classrooms, here's a bit of the code: $mylist = GUICtrlCreateList("", 30, 40, 120, 283) GUICtrlSetLimit(-1, 200) GUICtrlSetData(-1, "Classroom 118 W") GUICtrlSetData(-1, "Classroom 107 W") GUICtrlSetData(-1, "Classroom 105 W") When I use GuiCtrlSetData, I've been putting them in the order I want them to appear on the list. However, it's been automatically sorting them alphabetically (and thus numerically, since only the numbers are different). Is there any way around this? I really need them to be in a certain order, and the sorting somewhat ruins that If anyone could help or point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated! Moderators Melba23 Posted January 5, 2011 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2011 mistykz,The deafault styles for a List control are $LBS_SORT, $WS_BORDER, $WS_VSCROLL. So if you want an unsorted list, you need to remove the $LBS_SORT style. The easiest way to do this is to create the List control without it: $mylist = GUICtrlCreateList("", 30, 40, 120, 283, BitOR($WS_BORDER, $WS_VSCROLL))I recommend reading the Setting Styles tutorial in the Wiki for more information on how styles work - and why you shoudl use BitOR to combine them.
