chelseafc Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 hi, i've been thinking if it is possible to store RSS XML pages into note form for my ipod. If anyone has an ipod please refer to ipodagent which does that job. But unfortunately they make you pay for it. I was thinking if they is someway to filter out or delete useless lines and store RSS news as note form?http://www.wired.com/news/feeds/rss2/0,2610,,00.xml
chelseafc Posted June 12, 2005 Author Posted June 12, 2005 if you look at the rss page carefully, you will see there are <titles> stuff. It is possible to make whats inside <catagory> </catagory> a folder, inside <title> </title>a file name. and somehow store some relevent text for the <link></link>.
chelseafc Posted June 12, 2005 Author Posted June 12, 2005 sorry to triple post, but i found that the info inside <discription></discription> is whats suppose to be store in the note. Even easier?
chelseafc Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 basically you need to script it so it deletes paremeters/select and make note form files (txt). any help?
