HOWEVER, the Search function does me a favor by removing the word COLOR from my search string... Gee, thanks! So I need to create a new excel file, fill it with bundles of data, then go back and color different lines different colors, based on the info on each line.. (for example, say ... if the first cell is blank, color the entire line with a red background, else color it green) Everseeker
