Sreekanth Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 I can see the following on the Hidden Text Tab-File:++Directory:Scanning:On the Visible text it contains the labels of 3 buttons, edit label and status bar text which are visible on the UI.
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 23, 2011 Moderators Posted February 23, 2011 Sreekanth, Sorry, but I am right out of ideas. It is quite possible that the ListBox is a custom control - although the Class seems to indicate otherwise - in which case you are very unlikely to be able to read it. You do realise that AutoIt can get the files in a directory for you? Perhaps you can get the list you require without the ListBox - can you give more details of what is in the list. Sreekanth Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 Details are here.. I need to provide a path (directory) in the standalone tool's edit box. once entered the path, the application will start scanning each file in the directory and will do a check in DB whether exists or not. For each file, with path and result will be displayed in the listbox, this listbox will be updated during run item i.e. new list items will be added to it until the search completes.
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 23, 2011 Moderators Posted February 23, 2011 Sreekanth, It sounds as if you could do all that in AutoIt, but it is not a trivial task (and I am not volunteering to do it!). What sort of database is it? AutoIt can deal with some SQL ones.
