BlackHoleSun Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 How can I change the file version of the exe files AutoIT makes? If I hover my mouse of the exe it says File version: 3.3.6.1 which is the AutoIT version, not the version of my program. This shows up if I use F7 to compile in the script editor or if I use the AU3 to EXE converter. Thanks.
AdmiralAlkex Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) Set FileVersion in the "Resource Update" tap when you compile, or write "#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_Fileversion=1.2.3.4" at the top.Edit: Note: Make sure to install SciTE4AutoIt3 if you haven't. I have seen references to it before and thought it may have been built in to the AU3>EXE converter I guess. Thank for the info!
AdmiralAlkex Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Eh what? The wrapper runs when you Compile (CTRL+F7) from SciTe. .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface
UEZ Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Have a look to Directives.au3 located in ..\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper. @AdmiralAlkex: Ctrl+F7 is the the GUI of the AutoItWrapper where you can compile also a script Br, UEZ Please don't send me any personal message and ask for support! AdmiralAlkex Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 @UEZ Exactly. It's the same thing BlockHoleSun have been using all the time if he really compiled from there as he claimed. .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface
