plastix Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Hi all Thinking about trying to make an audio recorder / recording editor (probably only normalise and record at set marker in audio track) i.e. a dictation recorder... Some of the BASS dll / GDI+ examples look like it can be a nice waveform visualisation / EQ tool - but do you know if it supports recording / overdubbing as mentioned above ? TIA
saywell Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 If you can get it started I'd be interested in this too! For decent dictation recording you need to be able to go back to a position, then either insert or over-write the existing. And navigate to that point by sound playback. The cheap sound recorders won't do this, and so are unsuited to 'proper' dictation recording. William
