Hi all

Thinking about trying to make an audio recorder / recording editor (probably only normalise and record at set marker in audio track) i.e. a dictation recorder...

Some of the BASS dll / GDI+ examples look like it can be a nice waveform visualisation / EQ tool - but do you know if it supports recording / overdubbing as mentioned above ?

TIA

If you can get it started I'd be interested in this too! For decent dictation recording you need to be able to go back to a position, then either insert or over-write the existing. And navigate to that point by sound playback. The cheap sound recorders won't do this, and so are unsuited to 'proper' dictation recording.
