Merrik Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Hi, Can someone provide an example of a nested function? Much appreciated.
BrewManNH Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 You can't nest functions, functions have to be separated from each other. You can go to another function from within a function but you would have to be careful to return from it correctly to avoid recursion errors. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. PsaltyDS Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 @Merrik: BrewManNH is probably right, depending on what you meant by "nested function". Care to define your terms a little more clearly? Do you mean to declare a function inside another function (not allowed in AutoIt syntax)? Do you mean call a function from within another function (works just fine)? Do you mean a function calling itself (allowed, but requires great care to avoid errors)? Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
