Windows System Assessment Tool (WinSAT)

Recommended Posts

Im looking for a way to access the total score number on a pc to give me an rough idea of the standard of the pc

for e.g.

If the pc has a number of 1.3 then i know performing a backup upon it will take some time and i may have to release some memory to get the job done (closing some known memory hogs for eg)

Also it would give a fairly standard way of checking machines on Vista and Beyond

So i did some research and found this stuff

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms737395.aspx

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa969191%28v=VS.85%29.aspx

I cannot find a reference to it on here, so i wondered is this possible to convert?

It is way beyond my capabilities but maybe someone in the future may do it

But maybe its not as bad as i think
