Alt C

What is the proper syntax in using the Send command to send the "Alt Key and the letter "C" ?

I have tried:

Send("{ALTDOWN}")

Sleep(500)

Send("C")

Sleep(500)

Send("{ALTUP}")

And

Send("{ALT C}")

And

Send("{ALT}"C"}

Nothing in the Help seems to help and none of these attempts have the desired results.

Thank you.

Did you actually read the helpfile? Because there's a fine description of how to send the ALT key with another key in there.

'!'

This tells AutoIt to send an ALT keystroke, therefore Send("This is text!a") would send the keys "This is text" and then press "ALT+a".

Plus the description of the flag parameter mentions the alt key sequence as well.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Yes. That was the first one I tried.

I just learned about Au3Info. It doesn't appear AutoIt can see anything in the Window, so that is why none of the commands are working.

How would I learn what the various Classes are that show up when using this command? Is there a table of those somewhere?

My window comes back as class "MRW". Has anyone had experience with a tool that can scrape information from such a class.

Thank you.
