WinWait, WinWaitActivate waits forever

I'm using au_3 spy to make sure my window titles are correct but for some reason my WinWait and WinWaitActivate statements are just waiting even after the window has appeared and is active. I could just use a sleep() but then the timing is different on each computer. Can anyone help?

Could it be that you arn't doing an exact match... tthen this would probably help:

AutoItSetOption("WinTitleMatchMode", 2)
