I need help on creating a bot for the game Guild Wars. I've never actually created anything using autoit, but I have used autoit. I am need of some guidance from anyone with any knowledge in creating bots for games.

I need to know the following:

Where do I start?

Are there any tutorials on this?

What do i need to know?

Anything else that you guru's can think of.

-Thanks

This would be a post for the v3Support forum. I dont know why you decided to post in the developer forum. It has not much to do with the actual scripting of AutoIt, but the development of it.

Just as a side note, making bots for games isnt highly looked on as it's considered cheating. You need to start writing it yourself and ask specific questions reguarding code not the whole application.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure if this was the appropriate forum or not. I thought maybe since I was trying to 'develope' it i would post it here.

Thanks again. :)

I do understand your logic. I am sorry if my post seemed a bit abrupt. It was meant to be that way as most people that get on here have absolutely no logic what so ever.

I would just suggest you do a bit more research before posting so as to prove your logic.

GL with your scripting.

Glad to see a moderator moved the script to the proper forum. :)

Again good luck.

Tips:

1. Write up something and then ask for some technical help

2. Read the Manual, and Search the forums before asking a question.

3. Use common sense.

4. Be logical in your use of the language.

If you follow the tips I gave you will make it quite far and wont get 'burned' when you post on the forum.
