I want to write a little tutorial in that box. I have this:ControlSend("[CLASS:Grand theft auto San Andreas]", "", "Edit1", "aHello,{enter}Welcome to the tutorial...")But it won't work for me , any help please?Note: I read the rules. This is not for a game but for the installer OF gta Edited August 3, 2011 by lawonama
monoscout999
To what control are you sending the ControlSend() function... show a capture from the AutoIt Window Info Tool. PD: Also delete the other thread. Edited August 3, 2011 by monoscout999

monoscout999
The control part is empty, that is the part that we want.. drag the cross over the control that you want to send the keys. EDITED: The box that you want to display, is made it from you, or from the program? Edited August 3, 2011 by monoscout999

monoscout999
I don`t get it. Did you write the code for the "a" hotkey? Then show us the code. or you don`t create any window so... ...Can you get the control where you want to write? If this is so confussig add a capture from the pop up window. kaotkbliss
Here is what I get, When someone presses "a" you want your own self-created window to popup with your tutorial? You need to create a Gui (see GuiCreate) with the $WS_POPUP style and you can set your text using labels (GuiCtrlCreateLabel) to get you started 010101000110100001101001011100110010000001101001011100110010000 001101101011110010010000001110011011010010110011100100001 My Android cat and mouse gamehttps://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.KaosVisions.WhiskersNSqueek We're gonna need another Timmy! smartee
When the window pops up, drag the crosshairs of AutoIt Window Info tool onto the box that you want to write in. Then post the information you see, as you did above.
lawonama
I did, but it's the same info. Actually the thing pops-up in the same .exe file. So not a second .exe opens Edited August 4, 2011 by lawonama
Bert
This thread is not sitting well with me. I have asked for moderator review. The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/
Valik
I was going to allow this thread since it's not about a game but a game installer and that's somewhat of a gray area with the rule. However, since an MVP and moderator have asked that this thread be re-reviewed I'm just going to close it.
