RichardL Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Hello, I've tried the AccessAutoIt example, yes it works. Now starting to merge in one of the SQLite examples. The first thing is returning the SQLite version string and I can't get it work. So I wonder if my code is wrong, or if AccessAutoIt supports SQLite? Richard. Set oAutoIt = GetObject("AutoIt.Application") iOuf = oAutoIt.Call("FileOpen", "AutoItAccess.log", 1) Call oAutoIt.Call("FileWrite", iOuf, Now() & " Hello World" &VBCRLF) sTxt = "_SQLite_LibVersion=" & oAutoIt.Call("_SQLite_LibVersion()") Call oAutoIt.Call("FileWrite", iOuf, sTxt & VBCRLF) Call oAutoIt.Call("_SQLite_Open()")
BrewManNH Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 There's a UDF for using AutoIt with SQLite, look for it in the example scripts forum. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. RichardL Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 @BrewManNH, @jchd, yes, I've run AutoIt progs with SQLite copying examples from help. Was hoping it would work via AccessAutoIt. @Zedna, yes looks like it doesn't work. . I was working towards getting a new set of data into an existing VB+SQL program. Thanks, Richard.
AdmiralAlkex Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 (edited) So I wonder if my code is wrong, or if AccessAutoIt supports SQLite?Well, considering it's just a wrapper around Call() that doesn't really make sense to me.I was just on my way to log out, so I will give 1 guess and see you back tomorrow.Did you forgot to #include the UDF?
