Hi guys I'm having this problem: I'm automating a websphere soft (console), I got the problem that when I want to make an input of a number stored in a var it adds automatically 2 spaces and it deletes a date and mess everything up.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks in advance.

juncaleo,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :D

Please post the code you are using - it is hard to debug with nothing to work on! :rip:

P.S. When you post your code please use Code tags. Put [autoit] before and [/autoit] after your posted code.

Sorry, this is the code.

$num= StringTrimLeft($NumCel,3)
$numero= $PrefNumFormulario & $num
send($numero)

I also tryied instead equal $numero to $PrefNumFormulario & $num make a send directly and got the same result

send($PrefNumFormulario & $num)

thanks

juncaleo,

Where does $NumCel come from? From an external app perhaps? :D

Perhaps the spaces are there all the time - it is quite common for additional spaces or @CRLFs to be attached to variables obtained from external applications.
