Running programs that require switches?

Let's say I've got a program:

abc.exe

and in order to do what I need it to, I need to:

RunWait

abc.exe /xyz "something - something"

It seems that the use of the quotes and switches throws off the "runwait" in AutoIT?

I'd really prefer to not have to call the comspec/cmd to do this as we have security software on our pc's that prohibits the use of DOS prompts from doing things like this.

use single quotes around your commandline could solve it... else post the exact commandline so we can check what it should be.
