intime69
The following DOS command resets the Windows 7 Librairies in cases where the libraries appear hidden or don't appear at all in the Explorer Navigation pane: attrib -h "%AppData%MicrosoftWindowsLibraries*.library-ms" I would like to use this in my AutoIt script but I am not sure where to put the quotes? Run(@ComSpec & "attrib -h" & "%AppData%MicrosoftWindowsLibraries*.library-ms") Can anybody indicate the correct quotations for the above Autoit script line? Many thanks, Ian Edited January 13, 2012 by intime69 Developer and Co-OwnerInTime Applicaitons Inc.
tomaskir
Spaces and quotation marks are indeed wrong. Also, please review the help file and search for Run. You are currently sending "attrib -h%AppData%MicrosoftWindowsLibraries*.library-ms" to the command prompt (without the "s) which is why it doesnt work. BrewManNH
Instead of trying to do it with the attrib command from the command line, try it with the FileSetAttrib function instead. Check the help file for how to use it. You might have better luck with the quotes that way, also look at the folder macro @AppDataDir, I believe that it points to the same location as the %appdata% environment variable. intime69
Thanks! That worked: FileSetAttrib (@AppDataDir & "\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries\*.library-ms", "-H") Developer and Co-OwnerInTime Applicaitons Inc.
