alfs
Hei I am new on this. I want to use AutoIt to do a remote update on Adobe Flash-Player (Explorer) on several computers. I will do this when there are no one else using the computers and want to make an exe-file for the job. Is there an example I can use to make my own? mvh AlfS

Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted January 16, 2012 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2012 Hi, alfs. There are a couple of ways to accomplish what you want to do, depending on your environment. To begin with, I would suggest obtaining the full MSI of Flash Player, which will allow you to install without all of the bloatware (toolbars, etc.). This is a small MSI (about 4.5Mb), which you can either include with your executable or include it as an external file that you reference. Below is the first option, embedding the MSI into your script. This works well for me. FileInstall("C:install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi", @TempDir & "install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi", 1) RunWait('msiexec.exe /i "' & @TempDir & 'install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi" /qn') "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind.
