Hi guys,

Newbie here - so be gentle :)

I'm witten a few scripts and have a decent understanding of programming, however I now want to write a script that will recognise letters appearing in a game. I'm not sure how to go about this.

The letters will appear in 1 of 8 areas within the game. I'm thinking that I might have to do a PixelGetColor in each area to locate which area the letter is. Then grab a small area eg 8 x 8 grid and analyse each pixel in theat area assigning a value to each pixel and then comparing it against a stored list of the value of all possible letters and hence I can then work out which letter has appeared on screen.

Hmmm... hope that made sense. I'm sure there must be an easier way though.

Any guidance in the right direction would be appreciated.

Great product BTW.
