Hyflex
The code below is fairly simple... I'm sure you can understand what I'm trying to achieve.. ; Login ID Number $LIDNumber = IniRead("QuickerLogins.ini", "Account Settings", "Login Selector", "1") ; Username Text String $UNCompiled = "Username " & $LIDNumber $UTString = IniRead("QuickerLogins.ini", "Account Settings", $UNCompiled, "") Edited February 14, 2012 by XxXGoD
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 14, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 14, 2012 XxXGoD,Have you checked that "Username " & $LIDNumber is exactly the same as the key value in the ini file? No added spaces at the beginning or end of $LIDNumber? Hyflex
; Login ID Number $LIDNumber = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "QuickerLogins.ini", "Account Settings", "Login Selector", "1") ; Username Text String $UNCompiled = "Username " & $LIDNumber $UTString = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "QuickerLogins.ini", "Account Settings", $UNCompiled, "") ^ Edited again to add @ScriptDir & " [Account Settings] Login Selector = 1 Username 1 = testusername Password 1 = pass
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 14, 2012 Moderators Share Posted February 14, 2012 XxXGoD, Works just fine for me: ; Login ID Number $LIDNumber = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "QuickerLogins.ini", "Account Settings", "Login Selector", "1") ConsoleWrite("*" & $LIDNumber & "*" & @CRLF) ; Username Text String $UNCompiled = "Username " & $LIDNumber ConsoleWrite("*" & $UNCompiled & "*" & @CRLF) $UTString = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "QuickerLogins.ini", "Account Settings", $UNCompiled, "") ConsoleWrite("*" & $UTString & "*" & @CRLF) *1* *Username 1* *testusername* Although it has no effect here, there are not normally spaces either side of the = signs within an ini file. Hyflex
Is there a way I can bundle the ini file into the .exe file but If the ini file exists then it wont create the ini file? Instructions: Open Launcher.exe If QuickerLogins.ini Exists Do nothing If QuickerLogins.ini does not exist then "extract" QuickerLogins.ini to @scriptdir
