scrilla103
Writing a simple script that types "blah" no matter what the user types into the keyboard. (atm I only have characters a-z set because of the 64 MAX number of hotkeys thing; i'll worry about that later) Anyway, my logic isn't working. The result is that every key types "ababababa" or sometimes "lhlhlhlhlhlhlh" instead of "blahblahblahblah" likes it's supposed to--doesn't matter whether I type the keys slowly or not, still happens. I've searched the web and help file and still can't figure it out. Here's my code: <snip> Any insight would be greatly appreciated. We do not encourage "joke" scripts here so I hope the explanation is a good one. scrilla103
Yes, it's a "joke" script. As I am new to AutoIt, I'm mostly doing this for the shear novelty and the involvement of logic. I have a few friends I might pull this on, but it's mostly for fun. (I understand your concern, as a "joke" script could easily be taken too far) Regardless of whether or not this is encouraged however, I would really like to know what's wrong with my logic? Thanks, Caleb
