How to make autoit navigate a site into an iframe.

Recommended Posts

I am up to my ears in iframes and trying to learn... can someone steer me in the right direction to navigate other sites into my iframe..

I am familiar with the term src='someotherdomain.com" to manually navigate the site in, but I need to program to navigate other sites in and out of the iframe at will... Thanks.

The dump or write as shown below works, but the reference to the Images is lost... and I need to add the <base href= to get the images... so what I really want is to navigate them to the iframe just as if I had used the src= command....manually...

#include <IE.au3>
Dim $oframes, $oframe1, $sHTML, $oframes, $iNumframes, $oframes2, $oframes3
$oIE = _IECreate(@ScriptDir & "\frame.htm")
$oIE1 = _IECreate("someotherdomain.com",0 , 0)
$sHTML = _IEBodyReadHTML($oIE1)
$oframes = _IEFrameGetCollection ($oIE)
$iNumframes = @extended

$oframe1 = _IEFrameGetObjByName($oIE, "frame1")
_IEBodyWriteHTML ($oframe1, $sHTML)
_IELoadWait ($oframe1)

$oframe2 = _IEFrameGetObjByName($oIE, "frame2")
_IEBodyWriteHTML ($oframe2, $sHTML)
_IELoadWait ($oframe2)

$oframe3 = _IEFrameGetObjByName($oIE, "frame3")
_IEBodyWriteHTML ($oframe3, $sHTML)
_IELoadWait ($oframe3)

Try _IEDocWriteHTML instead.

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble
