Is it possible to get the properties of GUI controls? Such as: Text Color, Background color, Font, Font size. etc, etc.

In particular I'm after the properties for the label control. I have 5 labels that I have set with a large font size and

currently I want to change the color of the text if a condition is met. I realize I could hard code the values in an array and update those values when the condition is met in order to have a reference, and then set the label text color, but if the properties are accessible by some means it would be not necessary to create an array...obviously.

If these are controls on a GUI you created, you already have access to all of that information because you created it. If you want to change something on them, look at GUICtrlSetData, which is the usual function for things such as labels, edit and input boxes, etc.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
